Hope you were all wearing green today, if not, then I hope someone pinched you for not wearing green. Tonight Jenny and I had quite the adventure down town. We were going to Black Rose and need to park the car, so we parked in the ramp that is around the corner. Seems innocent enough, shouldn't be any issues with that, so we went to Black Rose and noticed that there was some kind of a cover charge.

Means we have to get some cash out, because in this day and age, the chances of one having cash in their pocket when going out is very slim. So got the cash and went back to the Black Rose, needed ID to get in, me I looked old because I had my beard, but Jenny still looks young...alas she didn't have her Id. So we didn't go in, we will go somewhere else. So back to the car we go.

Keep in mind so far we have be gone 20 mins since we parked the car, as Jenny said, tis like Ireland where you have to pay down stairs and then you can leave. So we put the card in to see how much we owe, and the machine comes back with:

Please pay $999.90......WTF, pardon my french....but we were only gone 20mins. I know some say parking is expensive, but that has got to be the most expensive 20mins of parking I have ever done. HEHEHE.

So what is the morale of the story....next time don't go to an Irish bar on St. Paddy's day, parking is expensive and it is too cold to be walking around down town to find a ATM. :)
