Yep, almost another week over and things are currently going well where I work at, which is pretty good considering how the local enconomy is doing these days. For me personally I am enjoying what I am doing, but you know in the back of my mind, I always wonder what we do if my company I work for let me go. So I will make sure that my options are good for the day when something like that happens, however, I don't forsee anything like that happening at my current work place.
I don't know what the php developers will think of this statement, but you have got to love .NET, every day I work with the technology the more I enjoy it. I am learning something new things each day and different ways to do things, and keep thinking back to the days of classic asp, where it was such a pain to work with. The current site that I am working is our company site, which is currently running classic asp and some components, which is kind of funny.
Funny in that I moved away from doing components in another and accessing it in a web site long time ago, pre .net, because it was a pain to maintain. I was part of the team that worked on the Rapistan site (before they redid and then redid it again) and I was naive and did it with asp and vb components, swore I would never do something like that again and stayed clear of them.
Still on the new site redesign I get to use .Net 2.0 and enjoying every bit of it so far, just hope the site doesn't blow up on me. hehehe.
Well that is all for now, until the next time. :)
