Even though they put the French under pressure, we couldn't get that goal that would put Ireland into the world cup for 2010. A questionable goal by Henry, where he controlled the ball with his hand and they scored the goal that sent them to the world cup.

Every player does it, may be not all intentionally, but how many times have you seen it in games where a player controls the ball with his/her hands and gets an advantage out of it and the refs never see it. If the player was interested in fair play, they would pick the ball up and let the ref know what they did, but not all of them do it.

Talking about fair play, remember Paulo Di Canio when he was playing for Sheffield Wednesday and was sent off, and then pushed the ref and the ref made a meal of it. Yet the whole football world made him out to be a terrible player and shouldn't be allowed to play again, then a few years later while playing for West ham against Everton he plucks the ball out of the air, after the keeper was injured and then he was best thing in football.

Point is if more players do that sort of stuff, where they did something was illegal and the ref didn't see it, to own up. If young kids see that happening in the professional game, then can only be a good thing.
