I have been a Liverpool fan since 1977 and I have seen some great times at the club and bad times. Last year when Liverpool started off in the league really well, I really I thought it was the year that the League Title would finally come back to the club, for the first time since 1990. Then Christmas happen and Rafa lost the plot, and the club failed to cement their position and allowed Manchester Untied back into the picture.

Still they finished the season in second and it was like the Liverpool team of old, and this season had a lot of promise and that we could go on to win the league. However, losing the first game of the season against Spurs and struggling to win games, the signs were not good and the team had regressed. I may regret making this post and if I am proven wrong, then i will be the happiest Liverpool supporter around. :)

However, I think Rafa has to go, the mastermind who won the Champions League in 2005 has run out of ideas. And tonight's game sums up Liverpool's season (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8401999.stm). Rafa you have been a great coach for the team, but I am afraid as a supporter of the club, I have no faith that you will be able to turn things around. You come up with excuses for everything as to why our season has gone the way it has, but at the end of the day, you are the manager and you select the teams, and they are your tactics. Admit you have failed and do the right thing and leave the club, and allow them to bring in a manger that understands the English game and bring the good times back to the club.

Kenny Daglish may be the game has moved on since you were in charge of the club, but I think it would be great if he took over for the remainder of the season and at least let us finish it on a high.
