Well the new year is almost 3 days old and you may ask yourself, is it any different than any other year, and if you read the newspapers you would probably say it is not any different than previous years. In Yemen the British and US embassies have shut down with the possiblilty of a strike against theme from terriosts, nope things have not changed all that much.

However there is some changes, for one thing Manchester United won't be in the FA cup final this year round, they lost their third round tie against Leeds United today, and being a ABU fan that was a great result. Now, if only Liverpool could get their season back on track and make the season even better for me. Alas, with the way Liverpool is playing these days, i think we may have a better chance of pigs flying than Liverpool turning their season around.

Tomorrow it is back to work for me, with the next big time off being Memorial Day weekend, or if I take some time off. Which is probably not going to happen, because I want to save my vacation time until we go home to Ireland this summer. At least that is the plan, provided our finances allow it and that nothing major happens with terriosts threatening to blow up planes.

So apart from all of that, what does 2010 hold for our family, I really don't know. All I do know is that i have my wife and kids with me this year, and that to me is what is going to make 2010 a successful year for us. I hope your 2010 is a successful year for you and your family.
